Kim Crouse
Behavior Specialist
My name is Kim Crouse and I was born and raised in Central Maine. I have been working with teens in my community athletics and scouting programs for all of my adult life. I have always liked working with teens and families. I enjoy making a difference in the world. I volunteered as a coach in the local youth association for many years. I love to garden, quilt, craft, fish, hike, camp and spend time with my family. My job at Ironwood is as a Behavior Specialist. That means, I try to help each student I work with, feel safe, cared for and progress in their individual program as much as possible. I have seen miracles in the lives of kids and their families at Ironwood and am glad I’m a part of it. I feel our residential treatment center provides structure and healing and a place for kids to learn and overcome. One of my favorite motto’s I share with the kids is ‘Think . . . before you do".
