Enrichment Programs

Ironwood Ironwood’s enrichment programs are founded on the philosophy that healing is most effective in an integrated environment. Experienced instructors draw on a variety of specialized disciplines to help residents develop and maintain healthy routines, learn practical and relevant skills, communicate and express themselves through creative and compassionate ways. Watch a video of our Enrichment Programs here.

Ironwood Our large variety of enrichment programs are designed to introduce the student to a new skill or spark a new interest or passion. Our goal is not simply to provide factual information, but to inspire young people to learn and thrive. During their stay with us, upper level resident teens also have the opportunity to participate in off-campus field trips and outings such as snow skiing, white water rafting, golfing, canoeing, and camping/hiking, activities designed to improve their skills and broaden their interests. A number of graduates have continued studies in a favorite new field and aspired to become professionals in the areas of dog training, equestrian, and culinary arts.
